Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

Dublin/ London 16^th June 2017:  Applegreen Plc ("Applegreen" or the "Company") (LSE: APGN") The AIM/ ESM listed forecourt and food-to-go retailer with a growing estate in Ireland, the UK and the USA is pleased to announce the appointment of Niall Dolan as its new Chief Financial Officer effective 1 July 2017.

Mr Dolan is currently Head of Corporate Finance & Treasury with Applegreen having joined the business in May 2015.  Prior to joining Applegreen Mr Dolan was CFO of ISS Ireland Ltd for five years.  He holds a Masters in Accounting from University College Dublin and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC in 1998.
