CONTRACT WIN

·   $4.5M 2-year contract, first in mobility market

Avanti Communications Group plc ("Avanti"), a leading provider of satellite data communications services in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), has signed a $4.5m 2-year contract to deploy capacity from Avanti's HYLAS fleet to a new customer in the mobility market.

The name of the company acquiring the capacity is commercially confidential. 

David Williams, Chief Executive Officer of Avanti, said: "We are pleased to announce our first contract in the high growth mobility market. Avanti is focussed on supporting service providers in this sector with in-fill capacity when and where they need it.  We are enthusiastic about the broad range of other opportunities in the mobility market that we are currently responding to and it suggests a new pathway for growth."
