Directorate Change

The Board of Cenkos is pleased to announce that Philip Anderson is to be appointed to the position of Finance Director with immediate effect and as an executive director of the Company subject to Financial Conduct Authority approval.

Philip is an experienced Finance Officer within the financial services sector and also has extensive regulatory experience.  Philip has worked with main boards covering finance, compliance and risk issues as well as setting business strategies and delivering change management programmes. 

Until recently Philip was the UK Chief Financial Officer & Compliance Director of Curo Financial Technologies Corp. Prior to this Philip was the Group Finance, Risk & Compliance Director, Bluefin Advisory Services Limited, a subsidiary of AXA UK plc; Chief Operating Officer of Towry Law UK (then a subsidiary of Henderson Group plc); and Chief Financial Officer of Virgin Money. Philip has also held positions with Aviva and Legal & General. Philip is a Chartered Accountant, having qualified with Baker Tilly, and he has also spent a number of years working with Price Waterhouse.

Commenting on the appointment, Gerry Aherne, Chairman of the Company, said:

"I am delighted that Philip has agreed to join the Board as our Finance Director.  Philip's extensive finance as well as regulatory experience will provide a valuable addition to the senior management team's experience in the continued development of Cenkos."
