Publication of Circular and Notice of General Meeting

Further to the Company's announcement released earlier today in connection with the conditional combination of the Company's existing interests across Iberia with Sport Zone in Portugal, Spain and Canary Islands, and the proposed associated related party transaction, the Company has published an explanatory circular containing notice of a General Meeting of its shareholders (the "Circular"). The General Meeting will be held at 9.00am on Thursday 5 October 2017 at Edinburgh House, Hollinsbrook Way, Pilsworth, Bury BL9 8RR.

In connection with this, the following documents will be posted to shareholders today:

-      An explanatory circular, containing the Notice of General Meeting, regarding the proposed related party transaction; and

-      The General Meeting Form of Proxy.

A copy of these documents has been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will be available for inspection at http://www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/NSM.

A copy of the Circular will be available to view on the Company's website at www.jdplc.com from today. In addition, the Circular will be available for inspection at the offices of Addleshaw Goddard LLP, Milton Gate, 60 Chiswell Street, London, EC1Y 4AG during usual business hours on any weekday (Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays excepted).
