City Natural Resources High Yield Trust plc (the Company) announces that Carole Cable and Christopher Casey are being appointed as Directors of the Company with effect from 1 October 2017.

Carole has had a twenty-five year career connected to the mining and commodities sector, initially on the sell side at JP Morgan and Credit Suisse, and currently as a partner and co-head of the Energy and Resources division at Brunswick Group LLP, where she advises clients in the mining sector.  Carole is a non-executive director of Nyrstar NV and Women in Mining UK.

Christopher was a KPMG partner until 2010, since when he has carried out a number of non-executive board roles including chairman of China Polymetallic Mining Ltd.  Christopher is also a director of Eddie Stobart Logistics plc, TR European Growth Trust PLC and Black Rock North American Income Trust plc.
