Two new franchise hotels in The Netherlands

easyHotel, the owner, developer and operator of "super budget" branded hotels, is pleased to announce a further 162 rooms (two hotels) under development by its Benelux franchisee.

 

An 87-room easyHotel will open at The Hague Scheveningen Beach, one of Holland's most popular seaside resorts.

A 75-room easyHotel, will open in Maastricht City Centre, at Het Bat 10-12, Maastricht. A city of historical and political significance, Maastricht is a thriving cultural and regional hub attracting over 3,000,000 tourists each year.

Both hotels are scheduled to open in the second half of 2018 and will expand the Group's portfolio in the Netherlands to seven hotels.

The Company's committed development pipeline of owned and franchised hotels currently consists of:

Owned hotels:

United Kingdom (Ipswich, Sheffield, Leeds), Spain (Barcelona) Subject to planning consent: United Kingdom (Cardiff, Newcastle* and Oxford*).

Franchise hotels:

UAE (Dubai), Germany (Bernkastel-Kues), Portugal (Lisbon), Turkey (Istanbul), UK (Belfast, Reading), Iran, Sri Lanka. 

*Hotels being developed under an operating lease.
