Use the Performance Table tool to find out how a selected group of companies are performing by comparing them to their market (eg FTSE 100) or sector (eg Telecommunications) and then sort the information according to your needs.
The Performance Table provides easy access to view a wide range of information for the selected companies for example price, market data, directors dealings company financials and broker forecasts. This information can then be sorted by any of the fields shown in the table.
For example you could choose to view information on the banking sector, select to view price information and then sort by volume. This would allow you to view all bank sector stocks sorted by either ascending or descending price.
There are three steps to using the Performance Table tool.
Select either an index or sector and click 'go'. A table will be displayed showing a range of market information for the set of companies chosen. The default view shown is an overview page and contains data such as price change (1 day and 7 day), RiskGrade, EPS, P/E ratio and the consensus broker recommendation for each company. You can research a particular company in more detail at any time by clicking on the company name.
You can select different information (data views) for that set of companies using the links at the top of the table. These data views provide more detailed information regarding price, market information, director deals, fundamentals, time and sales, risk, broker recommendations and forecasts.
The table can be sorted using any data field by clicking the relevant column header; the sort order (descending or ascending) changes by clicking the arrow symbol.
